 West African Portland Cement PLC (WAPCO) was established in 1959 with its first factory in Ewekoro, Ogun State, Nigeria, commencing manufacturing operations in 1960. The second factory in Sagamu, also in Ogun State was established in 1978.

JOB DESCRIPTION
REPORTS TO: General Manager with a dotted functional relationship with WAPCO
Reporting manager.

DIRECT REPORTS: Stock controller, Accounts assistants, cashier (Shared with WAPCO)
JOB PURPOSE:
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for setting up and ensuring proper
accounting of Lafarge Ready Mix - Nigeria transactions, generation of Management
Accounts (P&L, BS, CF & periodic management report). The financial accountant will
actively participate in the achievement of the strategic objectives of Lafarge Ready
Mix Nigeria (LRN).

JOB PROFILE
Professional Experience
Mandatory:
1. University degree & qualified accountant (CA,ACCA or equivalent)
2. 3 years experience in busy commercial environment and/or reputable audit firm involved in financial accounting/finance
3. Written and spoken English
4. Good analyst and fluency with IT tools ( Excel)
Preferred:
1. 5 years experience from a commercial environment within the building materials or construction industry.
2. Internal control orientation
3. Good communication skills
4. Ability to influence and drive actions with minimum supervision.

1. Negotiate the sale and supply of ready mix concrete and related services to customers
2. Maintain personal involvement in the ordering, delivery of ready mix concrete and the collection of payment

JOB PROFILE
Professional Experience
1.Qualifications: Minimum of B.Sc./HND in any of the Social Sciences, Business Admin, Marketing
2.Good working knowledge of computer MS Words and MS Excel
3.At least 2years experience

JOB DESCRIPTION
1.Ensure plants all trucks are maintained as per R&M schedule
2.Ensure mechanics are trained in repair and are competent to perform each of the tasks asked of them
3.Ensure Plants and vehicles are maintained in the most time efficient manner and routine maintenance planned and scheduled to minimise downtime
4.Ensure that adequate supplies of spares are held in the stores and that purchasing of single high cost or multiple slow moving items is minimised.

1.Qualification: Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
2.Good working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
3.Experience: 2-3 years in Manufacturing Company

2. Carry out material testing as per relevant international and local standards
3. Oversee production and conduct QC test of concrete to insure product conformity
